National Fish and Wildlife Foundation RFP for the Urban Waters Restoration Grant Program

The National Fish and Wildlife Foundation has announced a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the Urban Waters Restoration Grants. Details are available at The grant program seek to develop community capacity to sustain local natural resources for future generations by providing modest financial assistance to diverse local partnerships for wetland, forest, riparian and coastal habitat restoration with a particular focus on urban/community waters and watersheds.

U.S. Forest Service partnered with the US EPA to contribute funds to this grant program. Additional private funds were leveraged by NFWF to make approximately $1.5 million available for grants of between $20,000 and $50,000 each.
