Schuylkill Action Network planning and outreach sessions

Over the next several months, the Schuylkill Action Network (SAN) will be working to update its Strategic Plan for the next 5 years. An important part of this process will be to hear from all of you about your ideas and strategies for restoring and protecting the Schuylkill Watershed. In order to do this, the SAN will be hosting regional listening sessions this summer. These sessions will help ensure that we have the right goals and strategies in place to tackle all of the pressing issues in the watershed. Your participation is very important- we can’t achieve this without you.

Each session will last approximately 2 hours and will involve a guided discussion on the best ways to advance the shared mission of the SAN. Leading up to the sessions, it will be important for you to think about what it is that you consider to be a success for the watershed and what is preventing us from achieving that success. We want to develop strategies that will best enable the SAN to overcome these obstacles and lead the way towards a healthier watershed. Below are the dates and locations for the sessions.

July 16th

10:00am-12:00pm (Lunch provided- for RSVP’s)

July 21st
Norristown, PA
DEP SE Regional Office
1:00pm-3:00pm (Lunch provided @ 12:30- for RSVP’s)

LUNCH:
Lunch will be provided at the sessions (you must RSVP to be guaranteed a lunch).*Lunch for the Norristown session will be served at 12:30, prior to the session.
