We will be joined by expert speakers including: \nTeddi Stark and Kelsey Mummert\, PA DCNR\nJustin Ulanoski\, Native Creations Landscape Services\nKelly Gill\, Xerces Society\nMark Fiely\, Ernst Seeds\nMark Brownlee\, Archwild\nNick Myers and Kelly Gutshall\, LandStudies\nKeith Williams\, Lancaster Conservancy \nFrom this course participants will: \nLearn about meadow types and what to expect over the lifecycle of a meadow\nBecome familiar with the benefits of a meadow\nLearn about how ecology can inform meadow site selection and site assessment\nDevelop skills and knowledge to successfully design\, implement\, and manage native meadows\nExplore different types of plant material\, plant selection\, and planting techniques to optimize meadow success\nUnderstand routine meadow maintenance requirements and common management challenges\nLearn participatively from a collaborative charrette experience how to plan and design a meadow and how to develop a maintenance plan\nTour several existing meadows with experts\nGain familiarity with PA DCNR funding opportunities for meadow projects \n11.5 CBLP CEUs \n(pending: LA CES\, APLD)
