SUMMARY:Schuylkill River Sojourn
DESCRIPTION:The Schuylkill River Sojourn is an annual 113-mile guided paddling trip on the Schuylkill river on the third week of June and is the perfect adventure to start your summer! Join the Sojourn for a day\, a few days or the whole week and see all the beauty the river has to offer while learning about the Schuylkill River Region. Each day\, paddlers will travel 14-18 miles with local and expert guides\, eat delicious food along the river\, and enjoy an exciting mix of educational programming. Price of registration includes 3 meals plus water and snack stops\, guides and on water EMT’s\, daily shuttle\, gear transport\, exclusive camping locations along the river and programming at lunch and dinner. DESCRIPTION:2025 PA River of the Year \nThe 2025 Delaware River Sojourn\, a guided paddling and camping adventure along the Delaware River\, is happening June 14-20. Join us as we celebrate the Sojourn’s 30th Anniversary and the Delaware River being named Pennsylvania’s 2025 River of the Year! The Sojourn combines on-water experiences and educational learning opportunities and is geared for folks of all ages and experience levels. Daily paddles average ten miles\, and participants can sign up for the whole event or for the section(s) or day(s) of their choice. Equipment is provided\, or feel free to bring your own boat. Our river guides teach basic instruction and help keep paddlers safe while on the water. Since 1995\, the Delaware River Sojourn has been bringing paddlers of all ages & experience levels on the Delaware River\, creating new stewards of this precious resource. Getting out on the river provides a direct connection to and appreciation for the water\, and to do so in a safe\, welcoming and fun environment helps foster that feeling for a lifetime. DESCRIPTION:3 Paddler’s Toolkits\nThe Paddler’s Toolkit will provide novice and veteran paddlers with new information and resources to enhance their next paddling adventure. Participants will complete a two-part educational workshop that will cover the ins and outs of preparing for a paddling trip on the Susquehanna River.
