We plan to be on the water and in a position to watch the fireworks by then. If time allows after\, and participants are interested\, we can continue kayaking on the water until the scheduled end of the program. \nTrip Leader: Our trained Excursionists and Volunteer Trip Leaders all have night paddling experience. They will guide the group along the river before the show. Once a good spot is found\, the group will remain there to take in the fireworks! \nActivity level: Intermediate – We recommend participants have some paddling experience in the past. This does not need to be extensive\, not does it need to have occurred during the nighttime. For our training sessions\, all equipment such as kayaks and life jackets will be provided. \n3 Rivers Watch is a network of volunteers who are active river users or river watchers\, from individuals to groups\, who have a vested interest in clean water. You can monitor the water while you are boating\, kayaking\, swimming\, or even walking along the river. Our 3 Rivers Watch training sessions include information about the types of pollution found in our waterways and how to report it along with an on-the-water experience in our watershed. The kayak version will last roughly an hour on single kayaks and is good for anyone with a base knowledge of kayaking.
