SUMMARY:Annual Youth Heritage Sojourn - Endless Mountains Heritage Region
DESCRIPTION:Calling all students in grades 6 through 12! The Endless Mountains Heritage Region is partnering again with Endless Mountains Outfitters for our annual Youth Heritage Sojourn! \nParticipants should meet at Endless Mountains Outfitters (7474 PA-187\, Sugar Run\, PA 18846) at 8 a.m. on Thursday\, June 18 for the fun-filled 32-mile adventure over a three-day\, two-night period from EMO to Tunkhannock. Students will stay at Camp Lackawanna in Tunkhannock both evenings. \nA detailed packing list will be provided through email to participants before the event. The $200 cost for this trip will provide students with a 3-day kayak rental\, two breakfasts\, two lunches\, two dinners\, lodging at Camp Lackawanna\, educational programming\, insurance and shuttling\, not to mention a memorable and educational summer event with the opportunity to meet new friends! \nFor more information on the event\, contact Keith Brown at 570-746-7102 or send an email at kbrown@tsd.k12.pa.us. It is a guided trip through the Lehigh River Watershed. \nThe event begins in Easton and ends in the Pocono Mountains. Sojourners travel through our region’s metro- wilderness- treasuring scenic views\, visits from resident wildlife and a shared appreciation for preserving the Lehigh River.

SUMMARY:2026 Delaware River Sojourn "Our Nation's River" - Upper Delaware Preservation Coalition
DESCRIPTION:The 2026 Delaware River Sojourn\, a guided paddling and camping adventure along the Delaware River\, is happening June 20-26. \nJoin us as we celebrate the Sojourn’s 31st journey as “Our Nation’s River” during America’s 250th year! \nThe Sojourn combines on-water experiences and educational learning opportunities and is geared for folks of all ages and experience levels. Daily paddles average ten miles\, and participants can sign up for the whole event or for the section(s) or day(s) of their choice. Equipment is provided\, or feel free to bring your own boat. Our river guides teach basic instruction and help keep paddlers safe while on the water. \nSince 1995\, the Delaware River Sojourn has been bringing paddlers of all ages & experience levels on the Delaware River\, creating new stewards of this precious resource.
