PFAS are a large family of chemicals persistent in our environment including groundwater. \nJoin MPP to learn about this emergent contaminant that has been found in twenty seven percent of the 412 public water system sources the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PA DEP) tested in Pennsylvania.  Learn how you can help ensure that your community has safe drinking water no matter where you live. DESCRIPTION:POWR is hosting a combined hybrid (in-person/virtual) Statewide Conference for Watershed Organizations on November 7-8\, 2021 at the Wyndham Gardens Hotel and Conference Center in State College\, PA. \nThis event will include a plenary session\, keynote presentation\, concurrent learning sessions on a wide variety of technical and organizational development topics\, a luncheon\, and reception. Informal breakfast roundtable discussions\, one-on-one mentoring\, and plenty of breaks will enable and facilitate networking\, conversations\, and additional opportunities for learning and sharing.
