SUMMARY:16th Annual Susquehanna River Symposium
DESCRIPTION:The 16th River Symposium will be held on Friday\, November 5 and Saturday\, November 6\, 2021 at the Elaine Langone Center on the campus of Bucknell University in Lewisburg\, Pennsylvania. The symposium brings together academics\, consultants\, state\, federal\, and regional agencies\, conservation groups\, and the public to discuss ongoing scientific research and innovative projects\, to share ideas\, and to increase awareness of conservation efforts to restore watersheds throughout the mid-Atlantic region. Our goal is to draw together people from all walks of life who share a common interest in rivers\, watersheds\, communities and the connections therein. DESCRIPTION:POWR is hosting a combined hybrid (in-person/virtual) Statewide Conference for Watershed Organizations on November 7-8\, 2021 at the Wyndham Gardens Hotel and Conference Center in State College\, PA. \nThis event will include a plenary session\, keynote presentation\, concurrent learning sessions on a wide variety of technical and organizational development topics\, a luncheon\, and reception. Informal breakfast roundtable discussions\, one-on-one mentoring\, and plenty of breaks will enable and facilitate networking\, conversations\, and additional opportunities for learning and sharing.
