SUMMARY:Swatara Watershed Association: Nature Journaling Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Welcome nature lovers and artists! Join Swatara Watershed Association 9 AM for a Nature Journaling Workshop at the Bordner Cabin. Artist in Residence Meg Lemieur will guide participants in a fun and creative nature journaling workshop – collecting and organizing observations\, questions\, connections and explanations about the natural world on paper\, using words\, pictures and numbers. You don’t need to be an artist\, writer\, or a naturalist to participate. It’s your chance to be part of the creative process! \nWe will meet at the parking area at the Sand Siding Trailhead at 9am on July 26th. We will hike to Border Cabin (about a mile on wide gravel paths)where Artist Meg Lemieur will guide the Nature Journaling Workshop. Use the hike back to gain inspiration for your new nature journal. \nAll art supplies will be provided. Bring water\, a snack\, sunscreen\, insect repellant and something to sit on\, if desired. \nThis is event is for ages 14 +.
