On the cusp of the Summer Solstice, join Forest Therapy Guide Robert Hensley for a one-day retreat in the beautiful Laurel Highlands of Pennsylvania. We will spend our time inside and out, CONNECTING TO THE NATURAL WORLD with elemental meditation exercises, a forest bath, and a variety of nature immersion activities on the trails of the historic Laurelville Retreat Center. This will be a wonderful opportunity to reground and recenter ourselves before the longest day of the year!
Robert Hensley is an award-winning creative and certified Sylvotherapist. He owns and operates Robert Hensley Nature Reconnect LLC, based near Ohiopyle, which focuses on Personal Rewilding and helping people rekindle their relationship with Nature. He teaches a variety of group and one-on-one classes, ranging from meditation to sound baths.
This will be a day spent in community, engaging in activities that will bring us closer to Nature – activities proven to bestow mental and physical health benefits upon those who engage in the practice. Please wear comfortable clothes and hiking boots/walking shoes that are okay to get dirty. Bring a yoga mat and/or blanket if you’d like – we will be on the floor/ground throughout the day. Sunscreen, bug/tick spray are necessary.
Lunch will be provided in the Laurelville Dining Hall. Snacks and drinks will also be provided.
All participants will receive a gift bag valued at $50.
