Watershed education takes a giant leap forward with the Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy’s Floating Classroom Program at Green Lane Park. Imagine environmental science, kayaking, and a floating science lab rolled into one incredible program geared towards developing real-world field skills in our young learners. In this program, students participate in courses on ornithology, geology, botany, aquatic communities, and watershed science. Moreover, students then find real-world applications for this new information through hands-on explorations on Green Lane Reservoir… and all from the cockpit of a kayak!
