Webinar: Linking Stream Hydrology & Geomorphology to Watershed Restoration Planning

January 15, 2021 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Webinar: Linking Stream Hydrology & Geomorphology to Watershed Restoration Planning:

On January 15 at 12 noon, POWR will follow up on the very popular geology of PA Streams webinar with a focus on stream hydrology and geomorphology. Join us as we host Dr. Benjamin Hayes of Bucknell University to learn why geomorphic and hydrological processes and the historical legacy of your stream should be considered when creating a watershed conservation and restoration plan. Learn about new approaches that help sequester carbon and sediment in watersheds, reconnect streams to their floodplains, increase channel complexity and bring about long-term ecological improvement.

The webinar is free, but please register to receive the link for the event which will be sent by noon on Thursday, January 14. The event will be recorded.

Registration Deadline is January 14 at 12 noon, please click here to register
