Connecting Pittsburgh’s communities to paddling opportunities with the dramatic backdrop of Pittsburgh’s Downtown, the ‘Kayaks and Kamraderie: Exploring Pittsburgh’s Rivers Sojourn’ will provide educational and outdoor recreation opportunities and provide many participants with their first experience on the water.
Attendees will paddle the Allegheny River up to the Point of Pittsburgh, where the Allegheny and Monongahela converge to form the Ohio, before paddling back to enjoy lunch aboard Riverlife’s Shore Thing mobile programming barge.
