Marianna VFC proudly offers this fundraising event, in collaboration with West Beth and Amwell Townships!
We are doing it again! Our community has asked for it…and our community deserves it! Come enjoy the day with your neighbors, floating down Tenmile Creek…This is a relaxing 4.6 mile float from the ballfield in the village of Tenmile(638 Tenmile Rd) out to the Yellow gate.(1456 Tenmile Rd) This is NOT a race, take your time and enjoy the beautiful scenery that Tenmile creek has to offer along your journey! Once you have reached the exit point, we invite you to load your vessels and head to the West Beth Township park(75 Broad st.) where the good times will continue!!
The registration fee is: $20 per person. This will include a shirt and a great time on the water with family and friends! With everyone’s support and cooperation, this event will continue!
Please register prior to April 28th, to guarantee a shirt! However, registration will still be accepted until May 10th at midnight.
Check in will begin at 9AM at Tenmile Ballfield. First vessel floats at 10AM.
We ask that all participants drop their vessels at the Tenmile ballfield, then take their vehicles and park at the Yellowgate area, where participants will be shuttled back to Tenmile ballfield.
**Any vessel used during the float must follow all rules and regulations set forth by the PA Fish and Boat Commission**
The time frame will be as follows:
9AM: Begin the registration! All participants must sign a waiver to participate!
10AM: First boat floats! We will send the next vessel roughly every 30 seconds.
At the completion of the float, the After Party will begin at the West Beth Township Park!
From 12pm-6pm we will be offering numerous activities for all ages! We will offer a bounce house, nature themed activities, touch-a-truck/photo opportunities with a Marianna VFC Fire Engine! Well have live music, great food and fun for all!
