The Delaware County Office of Sustainability is hosting a clean-up day on Saturday March 15th at Sun Village Park as a launch event for Keep Delco Beautiful. Marcus Hook Area Neighbors & NMS Watershed Alliance will be there and they hope you will too!
Keep Delco Beautiful is a partnership of many organizations in Delaware County which are tirelessly working to make our community safe, clean, and beautiful.
To bring awareness to this important partnership, and provide an opportunity for community members to get acquainted with all the wonderful groups working to Keep Delco Beautiful, there will be a launch event on Saturday, March 15th from 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM in Sun Village Park, in the City of Chester.
The event will include a community clean up (picking up litter, clearing debris, and cutting back invasive plants), followed by a celebration featuring food and information sharing in Sun Village Park, Chester City. Gloves, bags, and other supplies will be provided. While refreshments will be provided, each participant is encouraged to pack a reusable bottle to reduce waste.
