REGISTER to join POWR and your watershed colleagues for a day of learning, sharing, exploring, and networking!
We will meet in the morning for introductions, project success recaps, a short presentation on community climate resilience communication, and an introduction to in-stream habitat improvement techniques.
After lunch (provided), we will tour the Fishing Creek Restoration Project in Mill Hall- a success story made possible with the help of many local partners! We’ll hear about next steps and additional local waterway improvement efforts.
We will then visit a local farmstead in Howard to view and learn about best management practices on agricultural lands including streambank fencing, cattle crossings, and buffers.
Even though this event is free, you must register to attend and to receive updates and additional information (link below).
Workshop begins at the Clinton County Conservation District located at 45 Cooperation Lane, Mill Hall, PA
