Dr. Jason Kilgore is an associate professor in the Department of Biology and the coordinator for the Environmental Science Major at W & J College. As he leads us through our annual wetlands walk, we'll learn what wetlands are and how to identify them through soil structure, plant types, and water presence as well as how to identify wetlands plants and animals. The 16th River Symposium will be held on Friday, November 5 and Saturday, November 6, 2021 at the Elaine Langone Center on the campus of Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. POWR is hosting a combined hybrid (in-person/virtual) Statewide Conference for Watershed Organizations on November 7-8, 2021 at the Wyndham Gardens Hotel and Conference Center in State College, PA. This event will include a plenary session, keynote presentation, concurrent learning sessions on a wide variety of technical and organizational development topics, a luncheon, and reception.
