French Creek Valley Conservancy’s annual Summer Sojourn will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025. We have a great day of French Creek fun planned! Paddlers will start at Cambridge Landing Boat Launch in Cambridge Springs and enjoy a leisurely, 10 mile, self-guided float/paddle down a beautiful and remote section of French Creek where they will observe wildlife and the stunning beauty of French Creek. (Safety Boaters will be present). The first stop will be at the newly renovated Karl Gerdon Park for lunch and an educational program about freshwater mussels. Paddlers will return to the water and continue on to Saegertown to Bertram Park to end their day. Registration is $25 per adult and $18 per youth (ages 12-18). All participants must be preregistered. A maximum 60 paddlers will be permitted. Register at www.frenchcreekconservancy.org. French Creek Valley Conservancy, an accredited land trust, protects 3,500 acres of land and waters in the French Creek watershed and is the designated manager of French Creek as an official PA Water Trail.
