The Perki-Bay Expedition is a one-of-a-kind youth paddling experience. After successfully completing a 6-month internship, participants embark on a wilderness-style expedition through the heart of Philadelphia. Youth will paddle the Allegheny River up to the Point of Pittsburgh where the Allegheny and Monongahela converge to form the Ohio and learn from experts ecological monitoring techniques and how to look for signs of pollution.
