    The Conestoga River Club has planned an evening by the Conestoga for anyone who wants to learn, play, and connect with nature. Participants can go on a self guided scavenger hunt, looking for plants and animals, or they can learn how to fly-fish with specialists along the water.   • Kayaks and Kamraderie: Sojourn on Pittsburgh’s Rivers – Riverlife

    Connecting Pittsburgh’s communities to paddling opportunities with the dramatic backdrop of Pittsburgh’s Downtown, the ‘Kayaks and Kamraderie: Exploring Pittsburgh’s Rivers Sojourn’ will provide educational and outdoor recreation opportunities and provide many participants with their first experience on the water. Attendees will paddle the Allegheny River up to the Point of Pittsburgh, where the Allegheny and Monongahela converge to form the Ohio, before paddling back to enjoy lunch aboard Riverlife’s Shore Thing mobile programming barge.
