LOUISVILLE, Ky. — More than 120 local, state, and national conservation organizations launched the Healthy Waters Coalition to restore and protect the interconnected waters of the Ohio River Basin. This new coalition seeks to secure a regional restoration plan and the federal funding to implement it — goals that align with a broad collaboration underway in the region that is calling for more to be done to protect the waters that 30 million people depend on for their drinking water.

The Foundation for Pennsylvania Watersheds (FPW) is now accepting letters of intent (LOI) for its Fall 2025 grant cycle. FPW supports community-led efforts to protect and restore Pennsylvania’s water resources. FPW’s conservation grants program prioritizes projects that improve water quality and aquatic habitat in impaired watersheds, conserve critical headwaters, and expand community access to healthy streams. Artist in Residence Meg Lemieur will guide participants in a fun and creative nature journaling workshop – collecting and organizing observations, questions, connections and explanations about the natural world on paper, using words, pictures and numbers. You don’t need to be an artist, writer, or a naturalist to participate. In this workshop, you will be
