The Chesapeake Stormwater Network is launching a new training program. Our Chesapeake Urban Stormwater Professionals (CUSP) program is aimed at students and young professionals interested in stormwater and watershed management, but would also be a nice fit for folks from environmental advocacy, watershed groups and stewards/master gardeners that want to learn more about local stormwater and restoration programs. The program is designed to be flexible to fit around existing schedules, while providing practical knowledge to supplement classroom and on-the-job learning.

The Western Pennsylvania Conservancy has funding available to support projects that will improve canoe and kayak access to the region’s waterways. The Conservancy provides technical assistance and grants of up to $5,000 through its Canoe Access Development Fund for the construction and enhancement of canoe and kayak access locations.
