State Water Plan 2022 Update Draft Report

 The Statewide Water Resources Committee (Committee) for the 2022 update of the State Water Plan is hosting a public comment period for the State Water Plan 2022 Update Draft Report (Draft Report). The Draft Report contains the findings of the State Water Plan committees for this update of the State Water Plan including recommendations for action, legislative priorities and regional components for each of the six water planning regions identified in the act of December 16, 2002 (P.L. 1776, No. 220). During this comment period, the Committee is seeking input on the Draft Report’s contents.

 Interested persons may submit written comments on this Draft Report through Monday, September 19, 2022. Comments, including comments submitted by e-mail, must include the commentator’s name and address. Commentators are encouraged to submit comments using the Department of Environmental Protection’s (Department) online eComment tool at www.ahs.dep.pa.gov/eComment. Written comments can also be submitted by e-mail to ecomment@pa.gov or by mail to the Department of Environmental Protection, Policy Office, Rachel Carson State Office Building, P.O. Box 2063, Harrisburg, PA 17105-2063. Comments submitted by facsimile will not be accepted.

 Comments will be considered by the Committee and Department staff and discussed at upcoming public Committee meetings. Notice of the finalized State Water Plan 2022 Update Report will be published in the Pennsylvania Bulletin.
