Snakes, Turtles, Frogs, and a Free Picnic at the Sugar Valley Watershed Association Annual Meeting
August 29 at 5:30 at the Booneville Campground, west of Loganton.
Chris Urban from the Pennsylvania Fish
and Boat Commission will provide a presentation on the reptiles and amphibians of the Fishing Creek
watershed. Chris is an expert on non-game aquatic species in Pennsylvania, Timber Rattlesnake
biology and ecology, and many of the turtles, frogs, salamanders, and non-venomous snakes common
to our watershed.
A family friendly event!
The evening will begin with a free picnic dinner open to the public, courtesy of generous donors to the Sugar
Valley Watershed Association.
The picnic begins at 5:30 pm and the program on Reptiles and Amphibians will begin at 6:00 pm.
