Perki-Bay Expedition: A Source to Sea Youth Paddling Sojourn

Support the most unique youth adventure initiative in southeastern Pennsylvania! The Perki-Bay Expedition is a 5-day, 50-mile, self-supported, paddling expedition where Conservancy youth paddle from the Perkiomen Creek in Upper Montgomery County to Fort Mifflin on the Delaware River. It’s a true source to sea resource awareness campaign to highlight the need to protect and restore our beautiful waterways!

The Endless Mountains Heritage Region (EMHR) and Endless Mountain Outfitters (EMO) have partnered once again to host EMHR's annual Youth Heritage Sojourn! This three-day river adventure is for students grades 6-12 and will teach them about kayaking safety, the history of the river and local area, and environmental stewardship. Join the Penn State Master Watershed Stewards of Bucks County, the Neshaminy Watershed Association, and the Warrington EAC to learn how to apply to have your property certified as watershed-friendly, and receive a free Watershed-Friendly Property sign. Reducing storm water runoff and pollution, conserving water, and supporting wildlife and pollinators all work to manage and protect our water resources, improving watershed health.
