Be Different, Do Different! Conemaugh Valley Conservancy's 2025 Stony-Kiski-Conemaugh River Sojourn celebrates those among us who beat a different path to the waterfall, and the rewards of bringing unique gifts to environmental stewardship. Sojourners paddle 40 river miles over 4 days, experiencing 2 of PA's most scenic, but lesser-known river gorges, Kiski Valley river towns, and Saltsburg's Historic Canal Days Festival. Johnstown to Apollo, Thursday, June 5 through Sunday, June 8.

Spring Paddle Fest

Paddle Fest is a family-friendly float down the first 9 miles of the Shenango River, from just below Pymatuning Dam to Riverside Park in Greenville. Drop your kayak at the Pymatuning launch (10 Water Trail Drive), then park your car at Riverside. Shuttles run every half hour from 8-11, and you float back to Riverside and enjoy lunch, live music, and the company of other paddlers.

29th Annual Lehigh River Sojourn

The 29th annual Lehigh River Sojourn, June 7th-10th, is Wildlands Conservancy's partnership event. It is a guided paddling trip through the Lehigh River Watershed. The event begins in the Pocono Mountains and ends in Easton. Sojourners travel through our region's metro- wilderness- treasuring scenic views, visits from resident wildlife and a shared appreciation for preserving the Lehigh River.

Discover the Rivers: Pittsburgh Sojourn

Connecting Pittsburgh’s youth to paddling in the dramatic canopy of Pittsburgh’s Downtown, the ‘Colors of the Rivers: Pittsburgh Sojourn’ will provide educational and outdoor recreation opportunities and provide many participants with their first experience on the water. Youth will paddle the Allegheny River up to the Point of Pittsburgh where the Allegheny and Monongahela converge to form the Ohio and learn from experts ecological monitoring techniques and how to look for signs of pollution.
