  • Kayaks and Kamraderie: Sojourn on Pittsburgh’s Rivers – Riverlife

    Connecting Pittsburgh’s communities to paddling opportunities with the dramatic backdrop of Pittsburgh’s Downtown, the ‘Kayaks and Kamraderie: Exploring Pittsburgh’s Rivers Sojourn’ will provide educational and outdoor recreation opportunities and provide many participants with their first experience on the water. Attendees will paddle the Allegheny River up to the Point of Pittsburgh, where the Allegheny and Monongahela converge to form the Ohio, before paddling back to enjoy lunch aboard Riverlife’s Shore Thing mobile programming barge.

  • Summer Paddle Fest – Shenango River Watchers

    Paddle Fest is a family-friendly float down the first 9 miles of the Shenango River, from just below Pymatuning Dam to Riverside Park in Greenville. Drop your kayak at the Pymatuning launch (10 Water Trail Drive), then park your car at Riverside. Shuttles run every half hour from 8-11, and you float back to Riverside and enjoy lunch, live music, and the company of other paddlers.
