Our family lived next to the Susquahanna River that runs through NE PA for 26 years and every day we enjoyed its beauty. Often, we rafted a section of it, making a fond memory for our two sons. I hope I have given back something by nominating it! Faye Lacey

The northern Allegheny River near Franklin, PA, is beautiful. Lovely river to kayak, canoe, or swim. In some areas people can even water ski.
