Jacobs Creek Watershed Association would like to invite you to the 4th Annual Jacobs Creek Family Friendly Float Day. Bring your own raft, kayak, canoe or tube and enjoy a day on the creek, start and ending on the Canoe Access Ramps in Scottdale Borough Parks. Lehigh River Sojourn

The 25th annual Lehigh River Sojourn, June 26th-28th, is Wildlands Conservancy's guided paddling and biking trip through the Lehigh River Watershed. The event begins in the Pocono Mountains and ends in Easton. Sojourners travel through our region's metro-wilderness- treasuring scenic views, visits from resident wildlife and a shared appreciation for preserving the Lehigh River. The Endless Mountains Heritage Region has partnered with our local outfitters to host a series of Heritage Benefit Paddles throughout Bradford, Wyoming and Lackawanna counties. Each daylong paddle will incorporate guest speaker presentations about local river history, watershed conservation efforts and outdoor recreation opportunities from organizations like the Countryside Conservancy, Lackawanna Heritage Valley Authority, and museums from across the region. Floating Classroom Program

Watershed education takes a giant leap forward with the Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy's Floating Classroom Program at Green Lane Park. Come experience "magic in the water" with Conemaugh Valley Conservancy's Stony-Kiski-Conemaugh Rivers Sojourn, June 2-5, 2022. Kayak or canoe with us for 1 or all 4 days through Conemaugh and Packsaddle Gaps, with stops at unique communities along the borders of Somerset, Cambria, Indiana, Westmoreland, and Armstrong Counties in SW PA, and a visit to Saltsburg's Historic Canal Days Festival. The Schuylkill River Sojourn is a guided paddling experience which begins in rural Schuylkill Haven and ends seven days later at Philadelphia’s Boathouse Row.
